Taylor Van Arsdale’s career began as the “Original Check-In Gal” at the Hollywood Guitar Center. Her debut novel, Cocaine To Bain: Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll and the Inside Story of the Hollywood Guitar Center is an account of her time at the iconic store. The book won, Best Creative Narrative in both the 2018 American Book Fest and the Beverly Hills Book Awards. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Loyola Marymount University’s screenwriting program, Taylor received the school’s prestigious Screenwriting Award. She’s worked in film & television development at HBO and as a story/script consultant at NBC Universal. Her commissioned adaptations include the New York Times Bestseller A Conspiracy of Paper by David Liss, and her journalism works are published in: Santa Monica Daily Press, Creative Screenwriting Magazine, The Malibu Times, Cheapism.com and MSN.com. A Long Island native, Taylor now resides in Santa Monica, California with her fiancé and their cats Lady Miss Punks and the wily rescue, Mr. Snugs.
